Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development, Inc. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Kenji Morita; hereinafter "the Company") will provide sponsorship for the CENTRAL MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT FESTIVAL 2026 (hereinafter "CENTRAL") urban music event to be held from April 3rd to 5th in Yokohama.

Background to the sponsorship

In its real estate development in the retail and entertainment domains, we engage in the development of urban commercial facilities and Neighborhood Shopping Centers (NSCs) as well as urban development projects centered on large arenas. Under the concept of "Spaces that create activity and culture at the harbor," our subsidiary Yokohama Akarenga Inc. plans and operates a wide range of event-related projects that create hubs for culture, tourism, and interaction, centered on Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse.

We are now providing sponsorship for CENTRAL, an event in which iconic Yokohama venues will collaborate to radiate a musical and cultural experience throughout the city. The Company recognizes the great significance in the creation of a promenade and active space originating at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse and extending from Minato Mirai to the greater Yokohama area. Yokohama continuously broadcasts its appeal as a "City of Music." As an initiative closely aligned with that direction, CENTRAL creates an opportunity to communicate culture that connects to enhancing the value of Yokohama as a city, which led to the Company deciding to sponsor the festival.

Through this sponsorship, we will contribute to the improvement of walkability and the creation of activity in the Yokohama area, centered on Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse, as well as to the communication of the "City of Music" branding put forth by Yokohama. As a Crown Partner of the Echoes Amusement Park (hereinafter "Amusement Park") slated to appear this year within the Echoes Baa special venue at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Red Brick Park, we will undertake the development and support of new entertainment content.

About CENTRAL

CENTRAL is a new urban music festival with "deliver the sounds of Japan to the world" as its concept. It will be held at four venues representing the "City of Music" Yokohama: K-Arena Yokohama, Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Red Brick Park Special Venue, KT Zepp Yokohama, and Rinko Park. The event will bring together a colorful variety of entertainment offerings, including artists attracting attention from abroad and Japanese anime and technology. CENTRAL, which offers differing artist lineups and concepts in the form of simultaneous, independent events that turn Yokohama itself into a huge festival space, follows its initial appearance last year to mark its second appearance.

Details of Echoes Amusement Park Supported by Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development

Amusement Park will appear as a new space within Echoes Baa. The space will bring together a game booth, skateboarding, radio control cars, crane games, and other amusements that convey the fun of Echoes. This area will serve as a laboratory exploring possibilities for urban recreation.

Overview of Echoes Amusement Park content

・Game booth
Amusement Park will feature a game booth from Electronic Arts (EA). This game corner will showcase EA flagship titles including the FPS masterpiece 'Apex Legends', the skateboarding game 'skate.', 'EA SPORTS FC™ 26' featuring leagues, tournaments, clubs, and athletes from around the world, the realistic mixed martial arts experience of 'UFC® 5', and 'F1® 25', the official F1® game appearing ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix. This game center will pursue the pure joy of play – the boisterousness of hanging out at friends' houses, the battles with strangers at old-style arcades, and the competitions with online players around the world.

・Skateboarding
The relationship between skateboarding and music has defined iconic cultural moments that have become true cultural symbols. The fusion of music, art, and other diverse cultural elements with skateboarding has created an influential culture. Skaters are also iconic figures of the city. In collaboration with diverse brands, the event will create professional skater jam sessions that are captivating to watch, skateboard experience workshops, and other content enjoyable for skateboarding fans and those new to the sport.

・Radio control cars
With the cooperation of the RC car lifestyle brand BLOCKHEAD MOTORS, the event will host a spot for playing with radio control cars. It will offer modern street-style fun experiences, with globally trending street-style RC car demonstrations, jam sessions with skateboarders, and more.

・Crane games
Crane games are a unique form of entertainment that evokes the thrill of uncertain outcomes and the exhilaration of winning, reminiscent of traditional festival games like goldfish scooping and shooting galleries. Echoes Baa will present crane games as an attraction with prizes featuring Puppet SunSun, an artist who debuted under the Echoes label. This is a chance to get your hands on prizes featuring the hugely popular and trending Puppet SunSun.
