Capable of wide-area delivery within a range of approximately 200 to 300 kilometers in both the Tokyo metropolitan and Kansai areas, this logistics facility can serve as a relay logistics hub enabling round trips of about eight hours from both metropolitan areas, offering a solution to the "2024 problem" restricting overtime work for truck drivers.

MCUD ZIP Shizuoka Kakegawa (tentative name) is located about 2.3 kilometers from Kakegawa Station on the JR Tokaido Main Line and about 3 kilometers from Kakegawa Interchange on the Tomei Expressway. It is sited in an area that has a significant need for logistics facilities offering excellent access to National Route 1, a major highway.
