Launch of demonstration project using TwinCraft for Biz from KDDI

Mitsubishi Corporation Urban Development, Inc. (Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kenji Morita; hereinafter the “Company”) announced that on November 7, 2025 it will begin a demonstration project at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse using the TwinCraft for Biz digital twin platform provided by KDDI Corporation (Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hiromichi Matsuda).

In the demonstration project, two popular restaurants at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse—Re: Wharf and Disney HARVEST MARKET By CAFE COMPANY—will be recreated as virtual restaurants in a 3D space for a limited time. This will enable an intuitive sensory experience that simulates the space, the food, the view, and the immersive experience of actual visits to the restaurants.

In recent years, expectations have arisen for the use of digital twins in a variety of fields. The announced demonstration project is aimed at verifying effects of the virtual spaces on motivating visits to their physical counterparts. In the future, effectiveness verification will be conducted with a view to leveraging the technology as a customer attraction DX tool in the Company’s attraction-oriented real estate development and operated facilities.

・Project period: November 7, 2025 (Friday) to March 31, 2026 (Tuesday)
